wilsontsoi 0 Posted April 14, 2005 Nice contrast between nature and man-made, white vs. red, plain vs. detail. Basically, Ying & Yang. ^_^ Link to comment
dmozzherin 0 Posted April 15, 2005 It is interesting that picture looks so unmistakanely Japanese, having so little in the frame. Can you shoot something like this in Israel? ;-) Link to comment
amalsircar 2 Posted April 15, 2005 Pnina, I admire this beautiful image for western composition( contrast of colors) and the artist in you has appreciated the beauty and harmony of Nippon.7/6 Link to comment

pnital 36 Posted April 15, 2005 Ying and Yang is a nice analogy to that image Wilson. Dmitry, spring is now here as well, the time for the Almond trees , which have nearly similar blossom. The same combination I'm not sure I will find here... Link to comment
jeremy freeland 0 Posted April 17, 2005 This is a smart shot, Pnina. Took me a while to figure out what was going on, but I very much like the use you've made of the firm horizontals - the top I-beam, the stripe of red above it, the bottom I-beam as a natural bottom to the frame, and the tree branch driving in from the left, just as horizontal, but so different from the contstruction materials. And the diagonals work as well, with the right hand I-beam and the roof framing adding movement to the shot. Best of all, though, is the white blossom against the red (and the bluish grey of the upper beam). Thank you. Best, Jeremy. Link to comment

bosshogg 4 Posted April 24, 2008 Breathtaking! That's all I can say. I just came across this oldie, and it just popped out and slapped me upside the head. Absolutely stunning. I have not enough words to describe how much I admire this image. With this kind of inspiration, I might start doing "pretty" too. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted April 24, 2008 Thanks for your visit in that "oldi". You have your style and there is YOUR beauty. There is a lot of beauty as well as ugliness, in our world,I look for the beauty, but see as well the flaws... I wish we could meet one day David, I'm sure it will be a great pleasure...;-)) Link to comment
