I welcome the useful criticism and remarks.

I am not the one to comment on the technical side as it is flawless, however there are few things i want to say about the artistic side.

The poise (unless it wants to make a statement) does not complement the model which is verry atractive.

It lends a mannish bearing to the model, though it also points out a somewhat esoterical undermessage. I don't know it is a bit odd, to say the list. unless you wanted to point out that beauty remains even in "contorted" situations .

I have to echo the comments of Francesco. Technically I think this is a very good shot, better than I can do certainly. However, the first thing I noticed was the masculinity associated with this otherwise attractive girl. I had to laugh when i read Francesco's comments that she looked 'mannish'...I totally agree..but I am not sure why.

 

Maybe it is the way the lower legs almost look hairy due to the translucent drapes that partially cover her. An original pose yes, flattering..no, not in my humble opinion. I gave this a 4/6.

It is difficult to know what you are trying to capture in this photo. The Arms and the eyes look awkward to me. I like the legs and the pointed toes, however I don't think that the pose does the model justice.

I think the pose just make her waist look thicker than you would expect. I quite enjoyed trying to find fault with the image :-) Mmmmm, yeah the darker left leg is a little distracting if you look close. Does sorta make it look hairy.

Technically well done. This particular pose of this model, though interesting, is not my favorite

I think you got what you were looking for. Keep pushing the edge. Please don't let these others deter you. I look forward to seeing more of your pictures.

An interesting androgynous tangle.

I find this image much more interesting than all of the photos on here that look like polished erotic "art." I don't think that the women in the photo needs to look more "womanish" - unless of course you want to satisfy a bunch of horny guys....

I would have to echo Michael's comments... I think this image captures poise and beauty, I also sense confidence from the model through the pose and eyes. Very nice portfolio, let's see more!

there is nothing but woman in that image. i like the lighting, the presentation, and her lines.

Well done photo. (And I am not a "horny guy") just observing the comments about a "mannish" quality. What, I think, brings this out is the following: The pose with the model's upturned left arm accentuates the models lats which are very typically a more "mannish" quality.

 

The pose also flattens her chest amd her arm under her leg accentuates her deltoid and presses out her triceps which is typically a more "mannish" feature.

 

Finally, I think the most subtle and yet probably one of the most influential of the "mannish" aspects is that her hair (which we know to be long because we do see it) appears to be flat on the right and top of her head which complete a "mannish" appearance.
