This is realy very good, excellent pose!

If there is one thing, I hope for a green leaf instead of the stark white background- 6/7.

Thanks for the commetns so far.

Matthew - I caught the frog on a wall and could not move it. Me too I had preferred it on a green leaf, but try catching and relocating such an animal. As it turns out, the white backdrop ended up working well - and is perhaps more original than a green leaf.

imo a green leaf would have been too typical and taken away from the shot(at least for me) as it is the wall compliments the coloring of the frog as well as the texture of it's skin.

the perspective you've chosen deserves high marks and I dont think you could have asked for better eye contact.

Not just your average fauna shot. You seem to have captured a frog's...personality! Curious little fellow. Can't help but like him and smile. Interesting shot. J

Tom, I have been to Vinales and did not see her ! Even if I saw her, I could not make such a beautiful image of her. My favorite frog in the world. cheers Jana

Perfect photo! You must be proud. As for my photo... I see what you mean by your sugestion but that would look contrain. Keeping it like it is gives a sensation of freedom and space. But thank you very much for the comment. And.. thanks for sharing such great photo.

One can't help but take a second look at this guy! Apart from perfect composition, colour, texture, toning etc etc etc, the look you've captured is just so perfect, couldn't be better! How did you take such a pin sharp photo in the evening? It looks like natural light to me. Interested as I've tried froggy photos before (see my portfolio), and have only been able to do it by keeping the frog overnight and then taking the photo teheollowing day once the light is good.

Contrary to another comment on here, I think the wall was PERFECT... texture, colors, stance, detail... Really one of the better of it's type on here... Well done!

Amazing! The blue of the frog works really well with the blue background... It seems to be wondering what you are about...
