oswegophoto 1 Posted April 16, 2005 Fabulous. Wonderfully framed, cleverly composed, well executed, perfect DOF, and you did it with a consumer digicam? Brava! Link to comment
louise bridge 0 Posted April 23, 2005 Wow. Thank you Don. I keep re-working this image from out west but I am never happy with the colors. My C4000Z was lots of fun, wonderfully small and light-weight, but I sure hated all those drop down menus and especially the little Up-Down buttons for focussing macro. Spring 2003 I just kept taking the Cammedia out into the back yard, throwing myself down on the ground on a garbage bag and practicing the focus on the flowers as they came out that spring. The neighbors thought this was a rather odd way to garden in this obsessively house-proud city of Toronto. So thank you for your commendation and for discerning what's really there in this image. louise bridge 0 Posted May 11, 2005 I have reworked this image several times seeking to achieve the colors I remember photographing. We were setting out for a short hike (to a landform objective listed on maps and signs but one that never did make any sense) just prior to a severe rainstorm at Colorado National Monument. Is the National Park Service official Colorado National Monumpent information brochure map still presented upside down and backwards (North=down) like it used to be, I wonder. Link to comment
paperfenix 0 Posted May 11, 2005 That`s great your effort in order to become a simply scene in a wonder shot and composition. I think always we must look for the better perspective or angle. Congratulations because of the correct exposure and contrast. Very nice shot. Link to comment
