Son Shower

Any constructive criticism appreciated.

Nice shot...very serene and I like that you're shooting from above. A couple small criticisms would be that his hand being cut off is distracting, as well as that stained-glass sailboat hanging on the window. It's still a nice moment and interesting composition.

I like this shot as well. I just have to echo the comments above for improvement.

I have set this as my wallpaper-for-the-day (sort of a personal POW). A truly beautiful image, both aesthetrically and in capturing an emotion attached to this moment - something to do with transcience, although the picture captures it better than my words can. I don't find the sailboat at all distracting - it's colours are muted, and catch the sense of the sun behind the rainshower. The cut-off arm adds to the sense that the boy is in movement, in the act of closing or opening the door. As close to perfect as a picture can get.

That red thing in the upper portion of the pic, I guess, is a sticker--keeping people from walking in to the sliding door. It's ruining this beautiful pic.. FYI I love the boy's posting..

I first though the red thing was a boat... unfortunately it isnt but with a bit of ps work it could be one...and I would also make a bit of cropping work. The picture is tremendous, it is a pity those small details...Jean
