View over Blagdon Lake

Taken near Blagdon in Somerset England. Thankyou for any comments.

Matt, good composition, and view, give the feeling of distance and space. However the colours and lighting leave it looking a bit flat.

Matt, a nice location and useful, photogenic sheep. I tend to agree with Michael that there may be better lighting conditions some other time as this is a very good composition.

i have to disagree with comments about the lighting. i think the light here creates the mood that makes this image so beautiful. it is incredibly soft and calm.

 

an ordinary landscape shot in the same light would be dull, i agree, but somehow with the sheep, this one really works.

 

aside from that, the composition is excellent.
