Afterglow

subc

Tripod used with Cable release. Taken somewhere near Kangra Fort from the highway. The clutter that's on the extreme right could not be done away with because as it was not possible for me to change the vantage point. And most importantly, the scan does not do justice to the real transparency image.

Yes, very nice color and its gradation.

I also like the balance between the tree

and the fading of the color toward left.

This is a beautiful picture; slightly spooky. I love the colours and the silhouette effect.

You were lucky to find something to silhouette on such short notice (assuming you were driving along the highway).

This is about as bad as it gets. Totally un-imaginative and you even managed to screw up a simple composition -- see that bush sticking out on the right -- to make it a perfect kitsch you should have framed it without it. I just can't believe you have guts to complain about my ratings. I think it's time to report your mate ratings, revenge ratings, and vengeful comments to the abuse@photo.net -- and since there are few others whom you openly threatened (that's very un-cool, you know) we will sign a letter to Jeremy Stein together. I hope that will cool you down.

I feel sorry for you. Still trying to justify yourself. You did not take the trouble to read the details or you would have understood. The wrongdoer threatening the wronged. So very ironic. You need to be a romantic to see the refined blue of the dusk sky showing its old lonely reach. And at times do try to look beyond mere technicalities.

Sorry, I fotgot to comment. This is not original and I have to say that the frame that you put destroy the photo. The only good in this photo are the colors. If the tree would have been completly alone this photo would have work excellent but I see some other things at the left bottom.

Sorry but I do not thing this photo is so good in my opinion I give it a 4/3 for the colors after seeing it again. This is my opinion you have another good photos. I know that you could not take away those bushes but we rate the photo and not the circumstances , hope you do not get irritate by my opinion, it is just only mine.

Thanx Rakesh. I had noticed your photo earlier. Now these two photos together show the hues of a day. The story seems complete.
