mikesoliman 0 Posted April 2, 2005 The shoes in this shot represent the Iraqi civilians that were killed in the war. Considering the amount of people at this exhibit, I was struck by the image of the solitary figure of an old woman walking down the isle of shoes. Link to comment
mikesoliman 0 Posted April 2, 2005 I had a difficult time shooting at this event. There were a *ton* of photographers. I constantly felt like I was getting in everyone's way. Of course, whenever I composed a shot, people would step into my FOV anyway. :) How do you deal with this (in a nice way)? Anyway, I'll post more shots from this set when I get the chance. Enjoy! x-raytech 0 Posted April 3, 2005 I was there and yeah, lots of people at this event. It was very hard to compose a shot when people kept cutting in front of you every second. Link to comment
mikesoliman 0 Posted April 25, 2005 Thanks for the feedback! I was a little surprised by Jean Luc's response though. I didn't even think of it as a "funny" shot since the event was so somber, but taken out of context, I can see a little bit of the humor. :) Link to comment
