lbattjes 0 Posted April 2, 2005 Nicely done, Larry. I love the feel of B&W landscapes. This is just beautiful. Leslie Link to comment
mcgarity 0 Posted April 2, 2005 Thank you Leslie. Thank you Nicholas. I appreciate the comments. Rightly or wrongly I have always felt it takes more skill to do black and white than it does color. It is my first love in photography. Its nice to know others appreciate it as much as I do. Link to comment
cherlyn 1 Posted April 3, 2005 Agree with you totally, Larry, that B/W is not easy. You have done a beautiful job here. Link to comment
scottneuner 0 Posted April 3, 2005 My first love is B&W and a challange. You have done very well with this. Thanks for your earlier comments on some of mine. Scott Link to comment
stevespencer 0 Posted April 6, 2005 Yes, Weston and Adams. Certainly qualifies as fine art. Great photograph. -s Link to comment
lbattjes 0 Posted April 7, 2005 Maybe crankiness is in the air, but I'm really ticked right now, too...someone left a 2/2 on my B&W of the my friend's baby boy giving his new sister a kiss...of course, no comment was left. I hate that! Especially since I haven't had the chance to get online in several days...not something I wanted to come back to! Oh well. Leslie Link to comment
mcgarity 0 Posted April 7, 2005 Leslie Probably best not to get too exercised over ratings. Doesn't pay in the long run. Although truth be told thats easy to say, and hard to do. Just keep telling yourself Van Gogh never sold a painting while he was alive and look at what they go for today. Link to comment
mcintosh 0 Posted April 16, 2005 A very nice collection of photographs, this one included. Thanks for sharing. Link to comment
ryanjoseph 0 Posted April 21, 2005 Larry, I love your photos in your folders but by far your best works are these black and white images. Keep it up! Link to comment
mcgarity 0 Posted April 22, 2005 Thank you very much Ryan. Even in my darkroom days I did more color than black and white. I don't even understand that myself because I dearly love black and white. Thanks again. Larry Link to comment
