Thank you Leslie. Thank you Nicholas. I appreciate the comments. Rightly or wrongly I have always felt it takes more skill to do black and white than it does color. It is my first love in photography. Its nice to know others appreciate it as much as I do.

Agree with you totally, Larry, that B/W is not easy. You have done a beautiful job here.

Maybe crankiness is in the air, but I'm really ticked right now, too...someone left a 2/2 on my B&W of the my friend's baby boy giving his new sister a kiss...of course, no comment was left. I hate that! Especially since I haven't had the chance to get online in several days...not something I wanted to come back to! Oh well. Leslie

Probably best not to get too exercised over ratings. Doesn't pay in the long run. Although truth be told thats easy to say, and hard to do. Just keep telling yourself Van Gogh never sold a painting while he was alive and look at what they go for today.

I love your photos in your folders but by far your best works are these black and white images. Keep it up!

Thank you very much Ryan. Even in my darkroom days I did more color than black and white. I don't even understand that myself because I dearly love black and white. Thanks again.
