paul_scott1 0 Posted March 23, 2005 Interesting subject, but can't help thinking that it would have been better if he were facing the light. Link to comment
pemag 0 Posted March 23, 2005 Thanks Paul, I tried to make him face the light but unfortunately for me, he preferred to have the light on his newspaper! Link to comment
havanai 0 Posted March 23, 2005 From your response, it is apparent that this was a stranger whom you encountered and asked if you could take his picture. Well done....that's not often easy. I actually like the highlighted white hair and don't mind that his face is not oriented toward the light. That said though, his face is just too dark. It is too bad that the newspaper didn't act as a reflector to bounce some light to illuminate his face a little bit more. Absent that, it is too bad you didn't have a flash that you could have used, at very low level, to provide a little fill...though I am not sure how your subject would've reacted to that. You get high regard though for taking the picture. Link to comment
pemag 0 Posted March 23, 2005 Ok thanks, I can understand now what the problem of this photo is! I was joking, actually he is not a stranger, he is a relative and very dear person. I didn't want to disturb his reading! I saw the light and tried to capture it, that's all! Next time I will know that this will not be enough to make a picture communicate! Thank you all for your time and your usefull recommendations! Petros Link to comment
