melissapapajphotography 0 Posted March 31, 2005 This was taken on the way to Iosepa, Utah. The only editing I did on it was some adjustment of brightness and contrast. Small stuff like that. What do you think? Link to comment
jmcconnell2 0 Posted March 31, 2005 Great composition Melissa, the color of the saloon really sets off the sky, 6/6 Link to comment
michaelg 0 Posted March 31, 2005 hi melissa, i think the subject is great, i think you could consider alternate compositions though. the clouds look like they can add quite a bit of atmosphere should you have included more of it. on the other side of the spectrum, a closer shot showing more of the grain of the wood would also work well. melissapapajphotography 0 Posted April 1, 2005 Thanks so much both of you for taking the time out of your busy schedules to comment. I appreciate your input. I tried to compose this photo differently, but the lighting from the better angles wasn't very good and there were some really trashy things on the other side too. I tried taking pictures from different angles, but this was the best one I had. I do agree that one closer would be nice though, just to get the rich detail of the weathered wood. Thanks again. f1-fanatic 0 Posted May 1, 2005 I really like this shot! Great work. Have you ever tried using the channel mixer in PS to remove the color and re-compse it in B&W? Link to comment
