Portland at Sunset.

I tried changing the save options and uploading the picture a few

times, but the banding on the sky always shows up, even if it's not in

the jpeg I start from :( Let me know.

It's a big photo. The red mountain made this very

interesting.

nice travel shot , but a little underexposed and low in contrast.

I like the composition but just wish there were more lights turned on that would have made the foreground more interesting.

I hoped that too, but if it had become any darker I probably wouldn't have been able to get the shot, as I was shooting handheld at 210mm

David, the shot was taken from SW Portland, very close to OHSU. The bridge in the frame is the Ross Island Bridge

Being able to capture this moment is in it self a great success. Remarkable shot. Congrats.

who cares about the bandings? very nice light&exposure!!!

I too agree, capturing this moment handheld is amazing. But Stephano, is it really 1/400 sec shutter at f/5.6 for this shot. For the lighting seen in the shot and for an ISO of 200, I feel it should be a lot slower.

... I guess I didn't change the exif from the photo I had posted previously... fixed now.
