dont know.... for me it is because it makes me remember a sentence out of the movie "dirty dancing"...."i carried a watermelon"

 

anyway, it also makes me ...wanna be there now ;-)

 

so id say..its a good snapshot

I laughed when I saw the thumbnail, and harder when I saw the knife in the full-sized version: this lady is serious about her mellon! Seems a bit overexposed, though it's nice work. Still laughing. Best regards.

FWIW I don't see the shot overexposed, as someone siad in previouis comments. It's hard enough getting a decent exposure in open sunlight, so if tads of the sea (the foam) are blows that doesn't bother me.

 

As Guillermo said, right time, right place - you got a knack for that!

Hi Blag, she really does seem determined to cut into the blood red watermelon; is this candid? If so, excellent capture and congrats on the dof which is just right. This has a savage feel, if not for the modern costume and knife it could have been taken thousands of years ago because of the rawness of all else - totally natural.

She seems very young, like the others.....!!!
