vuk_vuksanovic 0 Posted October 10, 2001 This looks very much much like one of my photos, but you're being too literal ;-) Try rotating 90° counter-clockwise. Link to comment
corey_esposito 0 Posted October 10, 2001 I don't know about Canada but grainy pictures went out of style down here a long time ago. Maybe you should load a slower film. Link to comment
j._gordon_anderson 0 Posted October 10, 2001 As to Vuk's suggestion - don't do it. This is a good shot. It is at rest - peaceful. The world is working as it should . Rotation would throw things off balance and introduce tension - and that of coarse is Vuk - - not Bert. Link to comment
tom_menegatos 0 Posted October 21, 2001 I agree with Vuk that this looks like one of his shots but not that it should be rotated. It works as is. The contrast and lighting are nice. Actually, while I'm a fan of large grain :), I'd be interested to see what it would look like with that suggestion. A milled version of the subject. Link to comment
kendurling 0 Posted October 21, 2001 Lovely shot. I agree it's very restful and wholesome. A good thing these days. Only question I have is about that little triangle of tan in the bottom of the upper right corner. I *think* I'd prefer it without that. Link to comment
g1 0 Posted October 21, 2001 Great saturation & simple composition. Loads of texture, and I love the gradient of shadow over the pile of grain, it gives it an effective form. I really like this. Link to comment
petertje 0 Posted November 23, 2001 I agree with Ken Durling about the little triangle on the right hand side. If you put your finger over it, the strong simplicity jumps at you. Very nice ! (ratings given separately : aesth. 7 because of the triangle, orig. 8) Link to comment
