What a lovely enchanted place. The mist lets just enough light through to make it mysterious and give depth to the scene, especially with the brighter light on the foreground. I think someone mentioned the partial tree on the right -- I might just take that bit off, too. Although the brightest light in the background leads my eye back, way back in that corner, rather than in the top left corner. The crop makes this almost a panoramic view, which is pleasantly different for me. Gorgeous stuff!

No surprises about the sales from this superb shot. I admit I would be a tad dissapointed if favourite were a crop also, however you are justified in being pleased with this shot, wonderful! 7/7

I couldn't just rate it, I had to leave comment also. Composition is very strong, violet flowers create sth like carpet, and mystic fog filling further plan makes great ambience. Marvellous work.

Wonderful shot. I especially like how you've let the right horizon blow out. I usually hate that, but it works wonderfully here and adds to the misty atmosphere in the bg.

A moment from the paradise,

The nature in a violet gown,

Silently waiting for sunrise,

Look! Barry captures 'Bluebell Dawn'........I saw her when the world was slept, Her fluttering heavenly attire, The secret that could not be kept, Her bluebells in the purest fire.

I've had this in my favorites for a long time and just realized that I never even commented on it.  I must have been too stunned after viewing this image!  :-)  It's extraordinary!  I did not read through all the comments to see if you answered this, but I'd love to know where you found this amazing 'pasture' of bluebells.
