This is my best selling image and although it's a crop, which is

mildly annoying, I'm very pleased with the light and contrast.

I assume were talking early morning mist

 

all my efforts turn out contrasty woods with the odd blue speck

Barry, This is a beautiful scene. I love how the mist is reflecting the color of the flowers. I hope you shot many frames! My only suggestion, so minor it's hardly worth the effort of typing is the crop on the trunk of the tree along the right edge. I might have tried to include all or none of that trunk. I would have been happy to have shot this myself!
