I really like this! It gives a movie feeling, partly because of the light, partly because of the very pleasant DOF. A classic!

Alon, there are photographers that just shoot "wonderful" pictures and there are also some very distinct artists that have their own inimmatble signature. The latter kind is much harder to find but I am glad that you belong to this kind.

 

Again you created a small masterpiece, for all technical brilliance is combined with substance and content. I would say that for this one it would be very difficult to consider the technical or the creative parts alone for themselves. They are interleaved in such a way that considering the one alone, the other would be destroyed.

 

Take for example the selectiv sharpness of the person under that blanket. The technical part is that it is sharp - the creative part is that despite sharpness the human being under the blanket cannot be seen. In contrast to this the background in very soft focus is immediately recognizable. A person that wants to hide? Does this person look at the future that is not exactly predictable or at the past that fades away from memory?

 

You had all the needed sensitivity to not invade the privacy of this moment, but yet to capture it so that it says so much.
