cghubbell 0 Posted February 17, 2005 We had a dumping of wet snow which made for a nice blanketing on the bushes. Caught this shot in the morning before it had a chance to melt and get messy. Thoughts and criticism are appreciated. Link to comment
sandcruiser 0 Posted February 17, 2005 hate to refer to bokeh (or however you say it...) but the out of focus elements in the back grab my eye more than the otherwise lovely image of the bird. maybe it is a jpeg artifact? Not sure, but the blurred horizontal lines between the branch and the bird just won't let go of my eyes Link to comment
cghubbell 0 Posted February 17, 2005 Sounds like some cropping may help. I had been thinking that the parallel branches added interest, but perhaps it's just a distraction. Thanks for your comment! Link to comment
jerry ting 1 Posted February 27, 2005 C.G., I actually like the bokeh on the background. With that blurred branch the whole picture looks more balanced IMHO. I would prefer to see a tighter cropping to remove 1/4 from the right. Link to comment
