justin_grant 0 Posted February 15, 2005 A photoshop look into the future at my son's first fight :) Link to comment
aneely 0 Posted February 15, 2005 Great idea...looks like a left round-house to the eye and a right cross to the then turned lip. Hope he only sees it in the photo and not the mirror. But then, knowing how and WHEN to stand your ground in every aspect of life is a necessary survival skill that every kid needs to learn. The pre-PS shot is great, the PS mod is very imaginative though to be more realistic, you might add a bit of discoloration the the right eye lid, a little bloodshot the the right eye and more of a cut on the lip. I like the backlighting - good PS work. Link to comment
donald_l_fackler_jr 0 Posted February 15, 2005 As a portraite I don't think I have seen many this good. The added back light makes the whole thing stand out and the way you captured the skin tones makes me green with envy. As a PS work I was relieved, then I laughed at how much fun you had with it. Lower lip still needs more work though. The whole image is dark and moody. Captured very well with the intense stare. Link to comment
andrew_bridges 0 Posted February 15, 2005 Very glamorous, dramatic portrait before the creative PS work. The grey on the right eye is a little too thick, and too matte, to be fully convincing, but personally I'm better with makeup than with PhotoShop. This is one of the better alterations that I've seen, both for its sense of humor and for the fact that you've enhanced and complexified, rather than defiled, an already original photo. carlos_perez 0 Posted February 15, 2005 Something very fake about the coloring and distortions in this image make it unappealing to me. Link to comment
ken_thalheimer 3,739 Posted February 15, 2005 Very good PS work. Looks like he'd already been in the fight. It's lit well also Link to comment

mtreinik 0 Posted November 10, 2005 I can't see anything funny in imagining one's own child in a state like that. Violence is foolish. I really hope you never have to see your kid beat up like that. Link to comment
justin_grant 0 Posted November 10, 2005 You should see the other guy! Can't you see the pride in his eyes :) Actually, my son sat at my side while we photoshopped this together. I then gave him the chance to photoshop one of my shots. Link to comment
