timcorridan 0 Posted February 13, 2005 it's a little too large 6/6 nice one . i like the backgroung color difference Link to comment
aap1013 0 Posted February 13, 2005 Agreed, the background color works well to offset the subject. Very lovely. O-5 A-6 Link to comment
aap1013 0 Posted February 13, 2005 Some things you might want to consider: Try cropping the sides and bottom of the photograph slightly, it might make for a stronger image. Also, if you were to reshoot, be careful of the hair highlight on the right. It's just a touch blown out and is subtly distracting. Still, lovely photo. Link to comment
lissahatcher 0 Posted February 13, 2005 Tighter crop would make this much more dramatic...Beautiful child. Link to comment

Jerry Beecham 0 Posted February 14, 2005 John, beautiful portrait! The lighting and colors are exquisite, as is the sharpness and detail. She has a nice pose and you caught the light in her eyes. I would crop it more, but you are off to a great start. Link to comment

orangesiscool 0 Posted March 19, 2005 her face is the face of a consious rational being someone on this world for the first time, not hiding anything, not giving it either. not judging, completly selfish, this is the glance that signifies objectivism. "applause" Link to comment
steve_lowther 0 Posted October 11, 2008 and all who look at it are touched by her innocence. I would crop it a little tighter, however, and vignette the corners to enhance the drama. Link to comment
