cojacal 0 Posted February 10, 2005 Fantastic composition, fantasitc image. Hard to be too critical with such a strong image, but unsure what the intention was with colour, the world never looks thus, really never, and for me the image is somewhat magenta contrived. where is this? The sun is setting way south at the moment, is this Scottish east coast? Fantastic though, thanks! Link to comment
adamburton 0 Posted February 10, 2005 Thanks Colin, I suspect you dont often shoot long exposures with slow film. True, Velvia is a very saturated film, but also very slow. Therefore, the very slow exposure sucks all the colour out of the sunset and reflects in the sea, which is calmed again by the long exposure. I agree its not exactly natural, but it is a style that is recognised and appreciated by alot. I respect that its not for you, but at the same time I love it! Thanks again, Adam. Link to comment
laurent_baig 0 Posted February 10, 2005 Great composition. lovely colors, the shore rocks lead very nicely to the outcropping and provide nice FG. Link to comment
