Thought this was a nice shot of a friend of mine and her son. It's candid, as I

was shooting them all day anyway. Others are in my Upstate NY folder.

The child's eyes are the main subject and serve the photo and the theme quite well but nevertheless I would increase contrast to avoid the grey feeling given and move towards black and white.

nice light , wonderful expressions, tells a story and is clean. Bravo !

For a candid shot, it is outstanding. Very nice desaturation job, too.

I'm with Brooks, here: nice job. The tender affection she has is evident, and the light, if unstaged, is extremely fortunate. Great clarity and well composed.
