keithc 0 Posted January 23, 2005 timing my foot, thats a statue. But I like this shot. It feels real enough to fool some. 5/6 Link to comment
Coho 2 Posted January 23, 2005 nice statue. looks very real at first. I would crop a little off the right side to the second post on the right. the diagonal walkway leads one into the image of the statue. Link to comment
blago 0 Posted January 24, 2005 Putting the statue in this perspective (panorama format) really makes for a nice cityscape. I'm asking myself , what if there was someone going downstairs or someone fishing near-by. And I'm answering myself . :-) Maybe, it'd be better, but, from the other hand, adding human content could make the image busier without giving it some other levels of perception. The statue is so original by itself that it deserves a photo, no matter this photo cannot be highly original. (I'm a little confused.) Regards. Blago Link to comment
johncrosley 1 Posted January 24, 2005 Where it is exactly (I mean precisely exactly) so I can find it and next time I'm there take it in silhouette, so nobody knows it's a statute and that it's been posted on Photo.net? The pose is ordinary enough (I critiqued a photo almost the same last week by cropping tighter, but I WANT TO HAVE ONE TOO, just like I want a saturated Tuscan landscape. (I already have a waterfall) Thanks for sharing. Regards. John (Crosley) Link to comment
robidooo 0 Posted January 28, 2005 I find the photo shows well the idea but I'm not sure about the crop. I don't find it gives enough presence to the statue. Link to comment
mg 0 Posted July 16, 2005 This too is alive. Nice timing and nice tones as well. less DOF may have helped. What did you crop exactly...? Regards. Link to comment
