nice statue. looks very real at first. I would crop a little off the right side to the second post on the right. the diagonal walkway leads one into the image of the statue.

Putting the statue in this perspective (panorama format) really makes for a nice cityscape. I'm asking myself , what if there was someone going downstairs or someone fishing near-by. And I'm answering myself . :-) Maybe, it'd be better, but, from the other hand, adding human content could make the image busier without giving it some other levels of perception. The statue is so original by itself that it deserves a photo, no matter this photo cannot be highly original. (I'm a little confused.) Regards. Blago

Where it is exactly (I mean precisely exactly) so I can find it and next time I'm there take it in silhouette, so nobody knows it's a statute and that it's been posted on Photo.net?

The pose is ordinary enough (I critiqued a photo almost the same last week by cropping tighter, but I WANT TO HAVE ONE TOO, just like I want a saturated Tuscan landscape.

(I already have a waterfall)

Thanks for sharing.

Regards.

I find the photo shows well the idea but I'm not sure about the crop. I don't find it gives enough presence to the statue.

This too is alive. Nice timing and nice tones as well. less DOF may have helped. What did you crop exactly...? Regards.
