Los Forfogones del Porma

I had driven through this area many times during the spring & summer

months on my way to the Picos de Europa National Park, but owing to

the exuberant vegetation I never noticed the beauty of this wild

mountain river.

This past autumn on account of an emergency stop I was obliged to

take, I walked across the road and met this and other expectacular

waterfalls.

Unluckily the weather conditions were awfull: rain, wind and cold

but I though it was worth the while to get soaked and chilled.

I hope you enjoy the photos as I did in shooting them.
