jpfy32 0 Posted January 14, 2005 A view from on top of the South downs. Constructive critism please Link to comment
forrest_andrew 0 Posted January 15, 2005 wow! the shape of that pond is unreal and really makes for an interesting photo. i do like this photo, however i find the placement of the tree, and perhaps the horizon as well, a bit too central. i can't think of any concrete suggestions which might have improved this (less sky maybe?), but i can tell you that this pond and that tree has got huge potential. carola 0 Posted January 15, 2005 Terrific nature. Good composition but the weather was not on youre side.Blue sky with a few clouds would have made the photo something ele. But it is hard to get everything you wish sometimes. Link to comment
jpfy32 0 Posted January 15, 2005 Thank you for the coments, I think central positing in my photographs is a common compisitional error I make. Must try to improve it. Link to comment
raddatzphoto 0 Posted January 15, 2005 I'd try to exploit the light (spot to the right of the tree) & it's reflection if possible. ....and try to return here again and again. Link to comment
bread shutter 0 Posted December 27, 2005 I LOVE THIS SHOT ALMOST UNREAL AND A GREAT REFLECTION IN THE WATER , WELL DONE Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted February 12, 2006 Definitely too central a placement for the horizon, but the tree and pond are fine. Crop a bit off the sky, and a tad from the ground, and you'd have it. Also - the mood is nice here. A blue sky isn't always the best route. I like the darkness of this. Link to comment
