This was one of my first attempts with using a manual camera

A nice composition, however the dancers appear to be a bit out of focus. I like this image.

Well-balanced, dynamic composition, but not sharp and clear enough, I think you needed more light, 5/5. For a first attempt, it`s not bad at all, cheers, Jim

I like the dancers to be a little out of focus as it makes you feel the movement. What I like less it the high grain in the photo. If it would be pretty much grainless but with the same movement blur, it would be much better I think. Also, it you could compose so that we see a reflection of the dancers in a mirror as a background, instead of the posters, it would improve a lot the photo.

Interesting composition and I like how you captured the ladies dance formation. With that said, the photo being out of focuse kills it for me. One might say it's the movement of the dancers but if you look closely the foreground and the background are equally out of foucus.

I really like the composition, although the dancers could be a little more centered top to bottom, that could be just a quick crop, though. The thing that really hurt the picture was the lack of sharpness. It is easy for me to tell that it isn't movement as everything is evenly blurry. If you went and redid this the same but with a little better focus, you would have a definite winner. If my first manual camera shots looked this good, I would be really happy with them!
