Guest Guest Posted January 11, 2005 I don't know why this got some low ratings. I think it is a very competent portrait. Well lit, well focused, well exposed and 'printed'. You accomplished what you set out to do here. My principal teacher of photography had a similar disdain for soft or glamorized work - called it 'cliche' and would get on me in a minute when I did it (I still do, though). He would love this photograph (not that I don't - I think it's very good). The only thing I might have changed would be to have her sit a little straighter? The tattoo makes the image- that is where the eye goes, imo. Good job! -s Link to comment

robidooo 0 Posted January 14, 2005 I like this one a lot. I find that the fact that she have the back curved bring me back into the photo. My eyes starts on the legs (because of the tattoo) and move up to the face and is bring back to the left of the photo because of the curve. I don't think it would have this dynamic being straight.
