aepelbacher 0 Posted January 11, 2005 Another for Howard's challenge. My mother is a librarian and my brother and sister-in-law both love to read. At 18+ months in this image, my nephew was already fascinated with books. To this date (2-1/2 years), he sneaks to stay up late to "look at" his books ... and then is very difficult to wake up in the morning.I keep thinking that the B&W versions work so much better with the pics that I have of him. Maybe I'll stumble upon something that works better in color. Link to comment

afterthoughts 0 Posted January 11, 2005 This is wonderful. Tells a great story. Think about printing and framing and perhaps giving the framed image to the library as a gift. One of better images. Congratulations. Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted January 11, 2005 I agree that it's a very touching moment. I wish the same sharpness was on the little boy's face as it is on Grandma's. I think b&w was the right choice with this one. Link to comment
jos www.inpix.biz 0 Posted January 11, 2005 Nice moment and I like the crop. This shot shows that things really do come out of books. Link to comment
Phil_Light 794 Posted January 11, 2005 Great image Lou Ann. I think you've produced a wonderful image in response to Howard's challenge too. Makes me wonder what the book title is too? I think you may have an excellent avenue developing with these people and family shots. Lovely! Link to comment

colin carron 58,916 Posted January 12, 2005 A delightful shot for the album or the wall. I noticed the sharpness too but wonder whether he was moving as they are so close together. Well done for catching him at a moment when he was absorbed in something else. I think this will be your best approach for getting good shots of this little fellow and works best with my kids too. jayme 0 Posted January 16, 2005 Lou Ann- this is a wonderful captured moment. How sweet! The detail is super, yet it has a soft feel, I like that! My only nitpick would be the line in he backround over the little boys head, I might clone that out, just for aesthetics. Beautiful job! Link to comment
