Snow like sand

The original color picture is from a snowy low-contrasted subject.

I did some manipulation with Gimp, in order to exhalt a bit shadows and lights and give it a sandy look.

Thanks for any critique.

Che dire? Molto bella e molto ben composta. Anche la manipolazione digitale non 蠲isultata aggressiva come spesso accade in questi casi. Mi piace molto, una foto davvro ben riuscita. Complimenti.

Well done work. It is nice and minimalist, tone is warm and pleasant but the consistency of the texture recalls of snow, also if this was sand would plants able to grow there? For these reason it is a somewhat deceiving image, and i really like it, as art should not be obvious.
