owen_omeara 1 Posted December 25, 2004 This is beautiful. It is well conceptualized and beautifully executed. This is a difficult type of image to make and you did it well. -Owen Link to comment

wogears 186 Posted December 26, 2004 Very well done. (Nice model) I think there is a little too much space at the top and right hand side of the image, and I would like to see the entire hand. Still very fine. Les Link to comment

d2f 0 Posted March 20, 2005 While I like the look of this image there are a few things that could be changed and that may result in a different "feel". One is remove the right hand fingers from the image. While there are nice they also distract. Second, the upper left quadrant of the image is a little to bright, the subject's face should be the lightest area within the frame. Dial it down a bit and the viewer's eyes will remain locked on the subject's eyes. Third just a tad more light on the rest of the body, 1/3 to 2/3 stop should be enough to show detail and texture but not enough to distract. Fourth try cropping in a little tighter, a little off the top and the left hand side might improve the impact. Bottom line not to many photographers that I know of or seen can come up with a good self portrait and this is an exceptional one. But it helps if you have alluring eyes and a perfect face. alpenglow 0 Posted October 21, 2006 The colors are rich and soft all at the same time, and the eyes of the model are penetrating. Just a beautiful image. Mike K. Link to comment
