Subtle, idyllic, serene, mysterious, voluptuous and sexy. Very nice picture (and she has an amazing waist!). Don't take any notice of the suggestions that it should be tighter framed. We're not just looking at the woman. It's the whole scene that makes this picture.

much! May be it's just my taste - I would like to have it more lighter... some parts of the rocks and the girl. This is no critique - I would like to have something like this in my "pocket"...

I keep coming to this one Jonathan ... I think it's mainly to see a gorgeous (sp?) black and white with full range of midtones. And, I can't help but think that "Paradise Lost" would make a great title. Lotsa memeories but I aint going there.

6/5 - Beautiful shot. I would love to see her about 3 feet to the left so that the rocks aren't behind her silo, but beautiful nonetheless.

For this candid shot, taken directly into the sun I deliberately

exposed fro the highlights to catch the shiny texture of the water

surface, which looked almost as bright as mercury. It meant that the

shadows became almost black making the figure a near-silhouette. For

me it captured the overall impression of the scene - what do you think?

Comments and crits are very welcome.

I like this, it harks back to (I think) Bill Brandt's beach photos. The girl is there to be seen, but not quite visible enough and that's a very good thing, it maintains the mistry.

It works for me. The woman doen't have to be more than a silhouette (just for scale, but her beautiful body adds to the picture).

What bothers (a bit) me is the tilted horizon.

Anyway, an excellent B&W.
