dwm1953 0 Posted December 13, 2004 Became disenchanted with the infra-red color version of this and removed it. Replaced it with this b&w IR version. Please let me know what you think. Thanks, D. Link to comment
knittel 0 Posted December 13, 2004 Very cool. The dark backdrop of the mountain makes this really nice. chris Link to comment
justinblack 0 Posted December 13, 2004 For me this image is all about the contrastof the foliage agaist the cliff... the tree is beautiful, but the sky and top and the road at bottom kill the image for me. Tighter would have been better. Link to comment
bekster 0 Posted December 15, 2004 Nice contrast of the radiant tree against the shaded background. Making the road a gravel path or rutted dirt would give it more comfortable feel to complement the rest of nature methinks. Nice shot! Link to comment
glenn mellen 0 Posted December 16, 2004 very nice... maybe better had the road not been there, and think removal of the drab sky would be helpful, but still a 6/6. Link to comment
smhickel 0 Posted December 30, 2004 Nice tree. Love the contrast and formation of branches within against stone backdrop. Well chosen photo. r, Steve Link to comment
anushila 0 Posted February 2, 2005 Personally I like the sky in the frame. This photo seems to be about contrasting textures. It adds additional layers and continues along (what I think) is the theme of this work. At the bottom the road could have been cropped just a bit...atleast to the point where the white lane divider is no longer visible. Link to comment
Roy-photos 0 Posted February 8, 2005 David, good usage the lines and structure of the road as contrast to the structure and black and white tones of the three and hill. Good exposure control. 6/6 Link to comment
team_papua 0 Posted March 25, 2005 Interesting shot - definitely new to me. David, thank you for your comment, advice & example regarding 'contrast masking' (March 13) - Patrick. Link to comment
