stumpf 0 Posted December 8, 2004 Very fresh Ian. My work tends to be on the dark side, and I intend to experiment with whites in the future. Fellow photog, Mike Link to comment
cape1232 0 Posted December 8, 2004 This is nice. The shape and lines are interesting and have a lot of movement. There might be too much white onthe right. I like leaving room for context, and in general cropping things off center adds tension, but this time it comes acros as a bit too bland. Overall it's nice, though. Link to comment
beepy 0 Posted December 9, 2004 One reason I'm torn. While it's not entirely clear what I'm looking at - which is okay, but I'm also having a problem reacting or relating to the image in some way - it was the image that led me to look at the rest of your portfolio. While I don't often ask - can you explain a bit about the image? Link to comment
ian green 1 Posted December 9, 2004 well i'll try %)i was searching for some photography objects while walking along frozen lakeapproaching the opposite shore i found territory filled with logs / dead trees frozen into iceit was spring time so every thing captured into ice started to melt it around a bitthis photograph captures a piece of wood resembling (at least to my imagination) some small animal looking cautiously out of its diggingweird?!i spot metered on dry wood gray surface to completely block all the ground snow surface & keep ice grains inside the hole Link to comment
markco 0 Posted June 15, 2005 Can see your imaginary creature, smiling no less. The shadows are amazing and it becomes a bit more too. Link to comment
