I like the contrast of the natural leaves and the manmade tarmac. Perhaps I would have cropped out the top and bottom a little. The gum stains or somthing similar distract a little near the bottom left corner.

I shot this 'as is' outside the Columbus Museum of Art. I liked the balance, of

the leaves, and the lines.

I appreciate your comments very much. I do like the other crop as well - they each have a different feel. And you know, just now thinking about it, I've always loved the simplicity and surprise of haiku, and since I'm not a writer, here's this!

i personally think this is the right cut if u intend to result a 'conceptual shot'. i think that if u cut more space around this shot can leave significant. well my inglish is really shitti..

 

like very much vains in the background, they seems to cut space around leaves.. very nice effect.

This is very nice. If this was mine, I would crop it from top a little bit and maybe I would try to add some contrast, too.  Anyway, this is very good.
