christiankiely 0 Posted January 17, 2005 The background rocks appear to be in soft focus and the completely blown out sky doesn't really do much for the scene. If you took the same shot at sunrise/sunset lighting conditions there's no doubt that it would look very nice. Link to comment

johnchandler 0 Posted January 17, 2005 I agree and all your comments are welcome. The photo was taken on an a.m. hike on an overcast day. The DOF creates the lack of focus on the upper cliffs and the lack of definition in the clouds. The greens are dull and the plant life dry. But thats the way it was. Here is my photoshopography Pic of the same in a perfect world. LOL I can take criticism. I mostly do not alter my images. Link to comment
