oswegophoto 1 Posted November 30, 2004 There's a good image here, but I'd say there's way too much of that bland blue, with distracting stuff at the bottom of it. Since the strong elements are vertical, simply cropping in portrait orientation helps, IMO. I've done a quick PS crop, here. What do you think? Link to comment
maria_di_liegro 0 Posted November 30, 2004 This is really nice, but I have to agree with Don. The crop is much better. You don't lose anything with that crop, you only gain. I've been trying to read the lettering on the canopies. Is that the Park Plaza Hotel? Link to comment
johngalt 0 Posted November 30, 2004 for your comments. I believe that crop works a lot. Thanks for that. I was in a parked car when I took this. So, another car came at the bottom of the picture, which I had to crop. Hopefull, I will get a good shot, one day, when the sky is more dramatic too. I was actually trying to get the sky be half of the picture. But, you are right, the bland sky would play spoil sport... Maria, you caught it right. It is the Park Plaza. Link to comment
ecography 0 Posted December 2, 2004 I think this would be better in portrait view, that way the left is cut out and there's more of the building. Link to comment
