Please critique. Is it too abstract? Will a more "natural" version

with the original grey tones of the fog be better?

It looks simple at first, like nothing much, but the longer I look at it, the more I like it. Maybe a little grey foggy tone will give a different feeling?

I have long wanted to make a real minimalist photo, but I couldn't make a photo with so little detail in the background. Finally this day a thick fog helped and this black version is what I wanted to achieve...

However, some may like the 'natural' look of the original better...

The foggy version gives a gloomy mood. The "white"version brings out my abstract feeling/visions. I would prefer the 'white' version.

Nice to see something different, from the normal day-to-day shots that we see in this community. I appreciate your artistic eye. I would use the grey version with a slightly darker foreground. Both works well for me, as it conveys two different moods.

I think I would have straigthened the black ground (it is going a bit down on the left) but marvellous idea and result!!

If it is too abstract, as you asked - depends on your purpose. Strong artistic reduction. With the caption placed IN the photo it looks like a movie poster or a book cover. Very nice.

Too abstract? Some brains can handle the abstraction...others need the 2 x 4 upside the head.
