michaelseewald 237 Posted November 19, 2004 Thanks, Burano is a special kinda place, and I love working clearing storms. Perfect marriage, don't you think? PS. I was almost going to include this one in my next years calendar. It's tough to decide only 12. It's now on my site if you want to see the previews. Let me know what you think. http://www.seewald.com/calendar.htm Link to comment

yalcinbocugoz 0 Posted November 19, 2004 very nice photo 7/7. when a photograf goes away from it selv and looks more to a paint or a poster, then it becomes more beatiful, what a paradoks?Thats what I think. This nice photo reminds me Van Gogh paints!!?? Link to comment
etan_lightstone 0 Posted November 19, 2004 But any chance you could upload a larger version? Link to comment
michaelseewald 237 Posted November 19, 2004 I'll do that when I get some time. One thing I can vouch for, with a Hasselblad it only gets better larger, that's for sure. Especially if you lock the mirror up first, use a cable release and always shoot with a tripod. I NEVER make an image without this routine. In exhibitions they are often enlarged to 40"x40" (or over a meter by a meter) and other pro's swear they must be from a 4x5! Sweet. Link to comment
rulon 0 Posted November 20, 2004 This is a beautiful photo by its own, but what struck me most is the exposition. Good taste in a border involves subtlety and cohesion. This has both, the presentation becomes part of the work. Link to comment
cristina_fumi 0 Posted November 20, 2004 perfect for a classic calendar, I used to like the other ones too, I agree with you about the difficulty in choosing... Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted November 21, 2004 Van Gogh'ish ya. My beef is the sky is so so..and posted image size seems too small. Still very very nice. Would like to rate it 6.4/6.2 but can't :(.....6/6 Link to comment
michaelseewald 237 Posted November 21, 2004 Paul, 6's are more than I could have hoped for. I would not give it more either, but I will post some 7's in the near future. Thanks for the honest critique and for checking in. Blessings, MS PS Fun thing is, we have both been blessed with circling around each others image on the top of the heap (top 20 or so) for the past day. Congrats on your success. Link to comment
Tuhin 2 Posted November 21, 2004 a serene location and colours , would love to see this in slightly larger file and slightly more boosted up brightness and contrast ( the majority of the frame is in shadow ), I hope you dont read my suggestion as advice , unfortunately some photogrpahers read positive comment as negative comment, regards ..
