navarra 0 Posted November 16, 2004 He's a painter so the books on the background might not be 100% appropriate (this is his studio anyway) but I really like his expression. Simone Link to comment

dzdale 0 Posted November 16, 2004 Good Portrait, I think a tighter crop from the top would have been better. Link to comment
navarra 0 Posted November 17, 2004 Thanks for the comments. Regarding the crop, I actually like portraits with the subject in a corner and a larger background and I was looking for this result when I shot the picture. Simone Link to comment
sammm 0 Posted November 23, 2004 The detail in the hair and brow and the expression are all great, but the composition really does it for me on this one - the slant of the bookcase seems to go just right with his suspenders and his smile. Well seen! Link to comment
fun_factory 0 Posted November 25, 2004 I like the colors and expression of his face - very worm, delightful and optimistic photo :) only reserve I see, is in the composition - maybe to take horizontal picture? and place the character to right - those two vertical "lines" behind gives dynamic, but also lengthening picture too much - horizontal version would contain same content, but probably with more compact outcome. Thank you for your comment on my gallery and please - excuse my English :) ...wish you good light! Link to comment
brian_rosenbloom 0 Posted January 14, 2005 For what it is worth, I would like it more with a tighter crop. Link to comment
