i really like the the flattening and fade out of the chest area, it really emphasizes the depth of the face...

VERY cool idea! The composition works very nicely IMO... something that is sometimes tough with such a type of portrait.

woah. this is creepy. first of all, because i know you. second of all, because it seems like you are almost smiling which in my head makes me think of silence of the lambs. Anyway they are pretty powerful. personally, i would like to see how you would present them in physical form, all of them together, or smaller groupings, triptychs, diptychs, etc.....because that could make them also have more punch. It is also curious how only the woman's body is 'tinkered' with, and then, only your head... (well i know it probably wasn't a purposeful juxtaposition) but it is interesting to see a page of male headshots and female body shots...its reductive in the way that using black and white (and pink and red) is, and the way it becomes about texture shape and surface...hmm...things to think about...
