I like the Depth of field and the emdless appreance of the woods

That depends on what you're going for. If its the aged look, you can't beat an old oak. This is quite nice. You've got the black and white contrasts and the spice of the yellow. Visually engaging, but it doesn't seem to last that long.

Nice image, I've been dreaming of a shot like this for a while and haven't yet found the spot. Very well done.
