ivar olsen 0 Posted November 11, 2004 NICE!!! :-)) This is a sneaky one!!! Like the fact that you first seems to think "My goodness...strighten up the horizon.." Then you can not stop admiring...and want to see more...when going larger... AHH!!! NICE!!! I was fooled! Tha play between shadow and highlight does it for m in this one... Ivar 7/6 Link to comment
eric_fredine 0 Posted November 12, 2004 This is really great Aaron. Strong diagonal lines that can be read as a beautiful abstract in their own right; a slightly disorienting perspective; the complete abscence of anything that gives anything away and an vast, maybe slightly ominous, mood. Excellent. Link to comment
robertbrown 1 Posted November 16, 2004 Like someone earlier noted, my first reaction to this was "Why didn't he straighten the horizon?" But that's not a problem--it just takes the viewer a second to orient himself to this landscape. I like the texture of the field and road, as well as the dramatic sky. Stuff on the right side at the horizon line end up being more distracting than interesting: I'd clone them out. Overall, nice shot! Link to comment
pete church 0 Posted November 17, 2004 I'm a big fan of duotone. It lends itself to this superbly. Great shot. Menacing and peaceful all at once if that's possible. I like. Link to comment
AaronFalkenberg 0 Posted November 17, 2004 Thanks Pete, for your reaction. I, too, do not find it entirely ominous. Link to comment
