Up Close and Personal

I took this shot throught the glass at the Toledo Zoo. I was

wondering what you think of it. Is it interesting? Is it too dark? I

appreciate any comments...Thanks!

The reflection off the glass in particular hurts a largely black subject. I've shot a thousand plus frames at our zoo, and after a while gave up that I would never get a decent result through unfocussed fence or anything behind glass.

you might be able to remove the glare with photoshop some way, though i wouldn't be sure how to do it. i prefer less intimidating monkeys as subjects...
