  1. Yep I think it is "units of 0.1mm" The paper is 13 mils, which is 0.013 inches, which is 0.33 mm, so this would jive with my experience that "4" was where ink spatters (almost entirely) stopped.
  2. Hello For a long time when I print with Epson Exhibition Fiber Paper I would get ink splotches along the right edge of the paper, or sometimes drops of ink in the middle of prints. I was looking through the Epson settings and found a confusing setting for paper thickness, it seems to say "How many 0.1mm units thick is your paper thickness?" (attached pic) I Increased this number to 13, since I read on the box that Exhibition Fiber Paper is 13 mil paper thickness. Now I know this paper is actually 0.013 inches thick, which equals 0.33mm. But, at a thickness of 13, I got ZERO splotches or ink splatters, but the prints look blurry. I decreased this number gradually, which gave me progressively sharper prints, until I got down to 4. With that number, I only got 1 ink drop splatter out of 20 or 30 prints. Still I think sharpness is not perfect. I am wondering, what is the proper procedure for changing paper thicknesses and getting sharp ink free prints ? Do I need to re-align or take some action when switching paper thicknesses? Is 4 the correct setting for Exhibition Fiber? Should I do a re-align for each paper before using it? What about the platen gap? ignore it? Thanks for any insights Mike in Alaska
