richard_vezina 0 Posted January 11, 2002 The sepia (b&w)adds to the warmth of this portrait, the facial expression and body language is what makes the shot. very nice! Link to comment
a_d 0 Posted January 12, 2002 nice snap, but i think it could be better. i think the use of shallower depth of field would have focused the image more on the subject, which is the bride. the woman in the foreground is fine but she should not be in such clear focus. I think also the composition is slightly unbalanced. it wants to fall over left. also on my monitor at least the toning is too red, you might play with that some. i like the picture though. keep shooting. a_d 0 Posted January 12, 2002 this is sort of what i have in mind...color tweaked and i artificially blurred the woman in front. i also played with the cropping but i found that with the (simulated) shallower DOF i could not improve the composition with cropping. hope this helps, nathan. any other comments on this? okellodunkleyphotography 0 Posted January 14, 2002 for this to be a good shot you either would have to lose the bridesmaid or you would need her looking to the right so you could see her profile(hopefully with her smiling as well.) Link to comment
