This is an experiment, im not too sure about this one therefore i request hard critique please. Blue tones is new to me, is it right for the image? I think compostion is not working am i right? any sugestions?

This was shot at 6am, was quite dark, after some contrast/brightness adjustment it looks like day light! :0/

I think it works, do you not like all of the gray? I think if anything I would like more contrast, or a darker shadow value, but i think it works because the fog makes everything have a ghosty feel. anyway looks good to me 6/6

Hello

I quite like it. I think the photo would benefit from cropping at top and right, so the tree branches would be cut a bit. The picture would get more tight and mysterious feeling.

I like the "blue". The only thing I might have done differently is shoot from a lower angle (closer to the ground to include just a bit more road and less sky above the tree. The figure lends a great sense of scale. Overall, nicely done.

Tim, i didnt want to increase the contrast too much incase i reverse the effect of the fog but now that i try it, it dont seem to bad.

Jana, I feel uncomfortable cropping the branches, but ill willing to try.

Laurie Yes i plan to shoot this again when the fog returns :)

Thank you all for your advice :)

Brilliant Brilliant Brilliant!!! I think a compromise between the two versions would be best. The first shot is a wee bit too overexposed for my liking and the bottom version is a bit too dark. But what can I say, I really like this shot 6/6!! Well done.

Well done Mr Pitman! http://www.millan.net/minimations/smileys/clap.gif Whatever you replaced I'll never know, but this evokes the word lonely extremely well, tones are very nice!

Great capture of a moment, and a powerful evocation !

I can't say which version I prefer: The 1st one (without the cropping) feels wilder, and the 2nd one (with the contrast adjusment) looks more profesional.

I don't know if you've changed it but I very much like the version you have on there now. Keeping all the tree in it gives it a windswept feel, and the low contrast gives adds to the foggy and wild feel.
