A nice portrait, warmth and good b/w contrasts

I took this of my sister at our State Park Lake. I'm blessed with

being able to use her like a lab rat, lol. :) I have just started

taking pictures about 2 years ago and would love to have any kind of

comment or suggestion. Thank you :)

Nice, sensitive portrait and good contrast. The face appears to be burnt a bit - it appears the meter took a reading mostly for the dark sweater and the black background. There could be more detail here, but the picture still works fine as it is.

I think the whole burnt-out-face thing is actually very artistic. It also hides any unfortunate blemishes, flattering just about anyone. The only negative thing I have to say about this is that because of the shadow between her lips, she appears to be pouting. A smile would have fixed that though.

Good crop, great tonality, nice expression. The blurry thing on the right might be burned in a little to reduce its visibility. Nice contrast of pale face and dark-patterned sweater.
