John Peri 1,039 Posted October 24, 2004 Extraordinary, as usual. Yuri, you were the first artist that I noticed when I joined PN. Your work has not ceased to astonish me in it's range of feelings. You have the ability to render a complex subject simple, and a simple subject complex. Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted October 25, 2004 Simply magnificient. Amazing colors, Great composition, lovely reflection in the water. I guess this first page of top photos will all be your for the next three days.... I guess as I have already commented on your other pictures there should be some sense in rating pictures. There is a hell of a difference in perception from 3/3 to 7/7. If you look at rating breakup its frustrating. I agree with your comment on one of the fotos about people rating pictures leisurely. I think nobody should rate any picture without comments (certain number of words or charactrers compulsary and rating option drop box would come after you write comments). Language is no problem you can translate online even. There are some percentage of ratings which are considered abnormal internationally (in sports they wipe off one of the highest and one of the lowest ratings as these tend to be biased.) or there any many other softwares for evaluating the rating . Regards.... Link to comment
imh 0 Posted October 25, 2004 Fantastic, This is how you remember seeing places that when you return were almost never that way! The light and colour of that reflection are truely glorious... The symetry works well too. Thankyou , Cheers Ian Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted October 25, 2004 Everyone with any sense at all about photography knows what a wonderful sense you have for the beautiful and interesting and the ability you have for apturing it. Yani, Faith, Golarka, etc. are also well known for their garbage ratings. Don't think a thing about them, it's the rest of us that count. Truly amazing image. Such saturation of color. Wonderful! livia_geabelea 0 Posted October 25, 2004 It's nice, but the colors are too much saturated I think... Link to comment

sunapeephoto 0 Posted October 25, 2004 Reflection in the water is very nice and abstract, however the whole upper portion of the photo is trite and ordinary. A quick tourist snapshot. The landscaped shoreline is awful, not natural looking and the building in the background shows all the earmarks of a tourist that expects everyone to ingore the portions of a photo that are not interesting. This is definitely a below average photo for photo.net. Link to comment
darko1 0 Posted October 25, 2004 did you ever sleep??? ...about Bad Comany...I think that some of them belong to PN,preserving and ruling top photos...I had experinece when some had give me 1/1 rating on the photo where I have recieved almost 6/6 and 7/7,after preserving that my photo had not come to top photos the rating where removed...who has abillities to remove their ratings,I think no one of us,when you rate something it will stay rated even If you remove your account...or maybe I am wrong...so I susspect that this Bad Company raters belongs to PN stuff just to correct the way top photos should appear...cheers --darko Link to comment
ron c sunshine coast, qld,a 0 Posted October 25, 2004 Good to see someone ignoring the photographic 'rules' with excllent composition.Nicely realistic-or it would be if the colours weren't so fake. What's with the rant?!If you want to make a point please make sense! Link to comment
andreas_weber1 0 Posted October 25, 2004 Yes, colours are fake! However, a great eye-catcher!! Link to comment
