Guest Guest Posted February 3, 2005 Great take... I particularly like the diverging angular planes this shot represents... chris Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted February 7, 2005 Hi, great use of large format, why the bad crop? We lost her hand and toes, excellent model though. I love the feeling of movement, after all since she is turned away, it follows that she will have to turn to face the camera eventually. The use of large format for recording such wonderful moments of reflection, is perfect. Very inspiring, thankyou very much. Link to comment

digc 0 Posted February 13, 2005 Awful. She's simply ugly, sorry for the rude word. Lightning wise - absolutely nothing special. Link to comment

apo ritto 0 Posted February 13, 2005 I am not convinced by the tones and lighting. The posing is not very original, but well applied. What has been of the model tip toes? Link to comment
john_haslach 0 Posted February 14, 2005 Have no idea what valdmir is looking at. The model is wonderful. Link to comment
clancyphoto 0 Posted February 14, 2005 thank you all for taking time to cmment on my photos. in this particular one, her toes are cut off because of the blanket she was sitting on...minor mistake. the hand...thats my fault...it was my first experience of B&W 4x5 studio shots...i don't think they are too bad for attempt number one. thomas_collins1 0 Posted February 14, 2005 I can forgive the toes and fingers as I have made these types of oversights all too many times myself. Lovely model and you have presented her in such a way as to be anonymous and somewhat distant to the viewer. I like the pose, a classic one, but I suspect the scan of your 4x5 is a bit too contrasty. There is practically no transition from midtones to total black, especially noticable around her forward ankle and in the crook of her right arm. Overall, I think you have done a nice job here. Those 4x5 are fun cameras to work with! Keeping having fun! Link to comment
